These are the best SUVs to lease in 2024

Best SUV Lease Cars 2024

The rise of the SUV has been almost stratospheric. These high-riding models have only gone from strength to strength, with buyers loving the confidence-inspiring driving position that they give alongside plenty of boot and passenger space.

Needless to say, there are lots of options in the SUV market as a result. Here, we go through some of the best ones to lease in 2024 (BTW it just so happens we have offers on a lot of them).

Volkswagen T-Roc

Volkswagen T-Roc

We start at the more compact end of the SUV spectrum with one of Volkswagen’s most popular models - the T-Roc. It comes with an abundance of great features, including loads of high-quality materials, some very usable on-board technology and a range of efficient yet punchy engines. There’s even a range-topping ‘R’ model for drivers who want a little extra performance.

With its large boot and decent headroom, it’s a great pick for families, while the raised driving position gives you a more commanding view over the road ahead than a traditional hatchback.

Ford Kuga

Ford Kuga

Ford’s Kuga is an SUV with widespread appeal due to its excellent value-for-money and practicality-focused interior. Ford recently added a new plug-in hybrid setup to the Kuga, too, which only helps to boost this car’s efficiency levels further.

As is the case with other cars from the Blue Oval, the Kuga is a good car to drive with well-weighted steering that makes ordinary drives feel a little more exciting.

Suzuki Across

The Across might look a little familiar and there’s a reason for that - it shares its underpinnings with the Toyota RAV4. However, it retains that car’s excellent efficiency and robust build quality but throws in some character and charm that comes from the Suzuki badge on the nose.

It comes with a plug-in hybrid setup, too, which means it can travel for up to 46 miles on electric power alone. However, once that energy is gone, you’ve still got a 2.5-litre petrol engine to fall back on.

Nissan Ariya

Nissan Ariya

If you’re looking to make the switch to an electric vehicle, then the Nissan Ariya is a fine way to go about it. It’s Nissan’s latest EV and brings with it a host of cool features and plenty of tech. We’re big fans of the haptic-style buttons which appear to ‘float’ on the wood finish in the centre console, while the large touchscreen is intuitive and packed with features.

You should get up to 329 miles from a single charge, too, so there’s more than enough in the ‘tank’ to make longer journeys simple.

CUPRA Formentor

CUPRA Formentor

The CUPRA Formentor takes a slightly different angle from the usual SUV formula. In truth, it’s closer to a crossover, but it still gets a raised seating position and the chunky, pseudo-go-anywhere styling that you’d expect from a car in this segment.

It’s got loads of great features, too, including a large infotainment system inside and lots of high-quality materials. Plus, in CUPRA fashion, each Formentor - regardless of the engine setup - feels quite sporty from behind the wheel.

Lexus RX

Lexus RX

The RX is the largest SUV in the Lexus range and, as a result, it’s got acres of space to offer. With a hybrid engine setup underneath it’s quite efficient for such a big car, too, so it’s a good option for drivers who want an SUV which won’t cost the earth to run.

Plus, as with other Lexus models, the RX has a great reputation for reliability, so it’s an SUV option which shouldn’t cause too many headaches down the road.

Audi Q2

Audi Q2

We zip down to a more compact SUV to finish with the Audi Q2. It’s Audi’s ‘baby’ SUV, but packs a whole lot into a small area with a typically upmarket finish and a polished driving experience which actually makes this compact model feel a little larger to drive.

There are plenty of specifications of Q2 to choose from, but all get loads of standard equipment as standard.
